Callum Beattie shares the uplifting official video for his latest single ‘Talk About Love’, out now via 3Beat. The track had its first listen on Ken Bruce’s BBC Radio 2 show. Beattie’s highly anticipated debut album ‘People Like Us’ will be out 15th May 2020 – available to pre-order now. He will also be hitting the road in March / April headlining shows in the UK, tickets are now on sale

The wonderful ‘Talk About Love’ visual documents Callum’s first time in New York City. Beattie’s endearing idea for the video was simple; if we would talk about love more, it will bring more positivity. We seem to constantly talk about depressing things and see so much pain, so this heart-warming video follows the Scottish singer-songwriter walking the streets of the Big Apple, spontaneously doing positive and kind gestures to the people of the city that will brighten their day. This mirrors Callum’s active and generous effort to bring awareness of homelessness around the world – he completed a European busking tour last summer, where he gave away any money made to the homeless in each city.

On the self-written single, Callum explains: “‘Talk About Love’ is a song I wrote about my own insecurities. It’s a song about finding it hard to express emotions towards certain people for fear of letting my guard down and what that would lead to.”

The new single follows on from Callum’s incredibly poignant track ‘Some Heroes Don’t Wear Capes’, which was a heartfelt tribute to his father. The re-release has been well-received with the track garnering 3M Spotify streams and Beattie’s monthly listeners increasing by +200%.
