The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 MCA Gets Officially Unveiled
The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 MCA Gets Officially Unveiled for the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 MCA. The latest from Virgil Abloh’s ongoing Swoosh collaboration was first leaked several months ago. It’s now being hyped as a major release for June, hitting Nike SNEAKRS on Friday, 14th June.
Virgil Abloh has his hands full for the next few months. Along with his landmark “FIGURES OF SPEECH” exhibition at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art, the designer continues to work with Nike; recently, the duo announced a Re-Creation Center in Abloh’s home city. Now, Nike has clarified some information regarding Abloh’s latest collaborative sneaker.
Initially only available for Serena Williams, the “University Blue”-hued Air Force 1‘07 was initially rumored to drop at the designer’s “FIGURES OF SPEECH” show. Nike has confirmed that these rumors are unfounded
Of all the styles from the Off-White x Nike Collection – otherwise known as “The Ten” – it’s the Air Force 1s which are quickest to sellout. Last year’s collaborative edition for the Museum Of Modern Art was so limited that sizes still fetch over £2,000 across resell platforms.
Thankfully, this latest colour way isn’t thought to be quite as rare.
Decked out in a vibrant shade of blue, all the customary Off-White details make an appearance. That includes a red coloured cable tie as well as “AIR” branding that gets printed along the midsole. A metallic silver Swoosh finishes the look to the sidewall.
The Off-White x Air Force 1 ‘Blue’ was thought to be an exclusive release, launching via an event at the Museum Of Modern Art in Chicago. But despite the speculation, this will in fact be available here in the UK.
