Stormzy partners with Adidas Originals!

Stormzy has partnered with Adidas Originals for a new apparel collection named ‘Adidas Originals SPRT‘, which just DROPPED!

You can browse the initial items in the SPRT collection here, which is advertised as “shifting the sportswear status quo”. The collection was “inspired by archive pieces from the 1990s and 2000s.”

The news comes shortly after Stormzy was confirmed as the first headliner of Glastonbury 2019. It also claims that either Childish Gambino or Liam Gallagher will play on the same day, while The Cure and Paul McCartney are likely to be the other two headliners.

Stormzy and adidas Originals just announced the start of an ongoing partnership to champion the creativity and community of British youth culture.

Under the moniker of adidas Originals SPRT, the Three Stripes and South London rapper will be connecting on a series of collaborative projects that celebrate and promote individuality and artistry.

The new collab emphasises Stormzy’s role as one of the culture’s leading voices with vast potential to have a positive impact on Britain and the wider world – best seen so far by his publishing venture and funding scholarships for black students at Cambridge. Stormzy’s latest work with adidas takes this ethos up another level.

In recognition of the collaboration, the first adidas Originals SPRT collection is inspired by Stormzy’s South London roots. The brand new adidas Originals SPRT tracksuit arrives in three colourways: Night Cargo (JD exclusive), Mystery Blue and Black reflective. Featuring Merky branding and reflective detailing, the tracksuit illuminates at night, placing those often ignored or marginalised firmly in the spotlight.
