Spotify today announces its biggest ever live UK show, Who We Be Live, taking place on 28th November at London’s Alexandra Palace presented by Live Nation. In celebration of the very best in hip-hop, grime and R&B from the UK and beyond, this year’s event brings together an amazing line up of both UK and international artists together under one roof. Tickets go on sale on 5 October at 10am at LiveNation.co.uk.
This not-to-be-missed event will bring to the stage some of Who We Be’s most popular acts, including AJ Tracey, Craig David, French Montana, Ghetts, Lethal Bizzle, Not3s, NSG, Raye, Tory Lanez, who together boast over 1 billion UK streams and over 3 billion globally on Spotify.
Last year, Spotify kicked off its live debut with the very first Who We Be Live. The inaugural show sold out Alexandra Palace, and saw unforgettable performances from the likes of Cardi B, Giggs, Dizzee Rascal and J Hus. This year Who We Be expanded to two events, with a show at Birmingham’s O2 Academy in June, featuring Jaykae, Mabel, Lotto Boyz, Ms Banks, Sneakbo andYungen.

AJ Tracey has already safeguarded himself as one of the leading grime MCs in the UK. Having recently performed at Leeds and Reading, the performer released his latest anthemic single “LO(V/S)ER,” following huge success from the iconic track “Butterflies,” featuring Not3s.
British R&B star Craig David needs little introduction. He has soundtracked the last twenty years on UK music with a catalogue of huge hits including “7 Days,” “Fill me In” and more recently “When The Bassline Drops” featuring Big Narstie. In January 2018, Craig David released his critically-acclaimed seventh studio album, “The Time Is Now,” which charted in twelve countries across the world. The record saw huge collaborations with some of the hip-hop, grime and R&B industries biggest names; AJ Tracey, Kaytranada and Goldlink.
Creating one of the most popular hits of summer 2017, “Unforgettable” hitmaker French Montana is set to headline this year’s Who We Be at Alexandra Palace. With two iconic studio albums to his name, the Bronx born hip-hop star recently collaborated with Lil Pump, Diplo and Zhavia Ward on Deadpool 2 anthem “Welcome To The Party.” Boasting more than 20m monthly listeners on Spotify, French Montana has collaborated with music’s biggest names including his brand-new single “No Stylist” with Drake.
Having just recently dropped his biggest record to date, Ghetts’ 17 track “Ghetto Gospel: The New Testament” is everything exciting about the current British rap scene. Fast-paced, energetic and packed to the brim with meaning, the London based performer uses personal experiences to influence and inspire his work.
Lethal Bizzle has had a constant presence within the British grime scene since he released his debut single, “Oi!”. Bizzle has always been a key player in the UK grime scene which he proved with his body of work ‘Fester Skank’ in 2015. With a long list of studio albums, singles and EPs to his name, the East Londoner recently dropped his biggest hit to date, “Don’t Believe You,” featuring rising star Lady Leshurr.
2018 has been the year of East London rapper Not3s. Dropping career-defining singles including “Fine Line” with Mabel and “Sit Back Down” featuring Maleek Berry, this August saw the 20-year-old teamed up with Nana Rogues and Wizkid on the killer single “To The Max.”
Within a movement of grime and hip-hop, Hackney six-piece NSG are boldly championing their unique take on afro-bashment and afro-swing. Their recent collaboration with Not3s, “Pushing Up,” securely positioned the piece as ones to watch, while single “Yo Darlin’” featuring Geko has racked up over 18 million streams on Spotify since its release in 2017.
South-London native Raye quickly shot to fame with her appearance on Jonas Blue’s single “By Your Side”. Having started her music career at the age of 11, Raye has established herself as one of the most exciting female singers on the scene. With 3 EPs “Welcome to the Winter”, “Second” and “Side Tape”, plus a number of hit collaborations, Raye is proving to be one of the UK’s most valuable talents.
Canadian Hip Hop performer Tory Lanez has had one hell of a year throughout 2018. Releasing his second studio album, “Memories Don’t Die” in March 2018 which includes guest appearances from 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Future, Tory dropped epic single “KeeP IN tOUcH” in August 2018, featuring hip hop legend Bryson Tiller.
