It features Michaels’ studio performance of the song, woven as an animation depicting racial injustices minorities face every day. “This song absolutely needed a visual component,” Sean said. The impactful video and song are meant to honour the precious lives lost throughout years of racially motivated police brutality. Sean is using his music as a vehicle for fundraising and awareness efforts and all proceeds up to 10k will go to BLM efforts.

Sean says: “No Silence is a different perspective on racism in America. Racism is everywhere and it’s not always easy to identify, so it’s incredibly simple for white people who aren’t affected by it to ignore the topic or even feed into the issue. This song paints a picture of what I believe is a major issue in America, subconscious bias. It starts at home.”

Sean Michael is the result of tragic endings mixed with your vodka of choice. As a lyricist he’s on par with the best of them, utilizing witty double entendres, captivating and sometimes disturbing storytelling, and completely contagious melodies to tell his unique story. It doesn’t stop there; his lyrics derive directly from experience, and more times than not are exaggerated to make himself look better. This makes him one of the most exciting new hip-hop acts to emerge in recent years.
