Huxlxy has launched the video for latest track “Relax”, shot in the summer in Lyon. Showing no signs of relaxing himself, Huxlxy has been out in LA recently working with producer PJ Bianco (Demi Lovato, Metro Station, Jonas Brothers).
He has already seen support from Spotify in the UK on New Music Friday, Hot New Bands (Cover Artist), The Indie List and All New All Now. His first track has attracted the attention of labels in UK, US and Europe and whilst he remains unsigned, he is steadily working away on his craft. “Relax” was mixed out in L.A. by Mark Rankin and featured additional production by Cam Blackwood. The track channels Weezer, Trap percussion and 90s MTV.Huxlxy adds: “Relax is about encouragement for anyone going through rough time, I wanted to write a summer anthem for those that suffer. It’s reminding yourself that there are ways to manage the darkness in your life. I wrote this song because my friend said to me he was feeling paranoid and I told him it was because you smoke too much. Then I thought to myself maybe I do that, maybe I smoke too much, drink too much and then I went through my mind and tried to figure out what makes me feel the way I do..”
