Fresh from linking up with Ikea for one of the most appreciated Christmas adverts our culture has had the chance to grace, D Double E has dropped by ‘COLORS’ to shell down a performance of his song, “Where Do We Come From?”.

Produced by Merlin, the UK Grime legend delivers a cold performance on the microphone while putting on for his hometown, East London, in his Ghetts-featuring track while donning the Red Houndstooth Drill suit from MAINS.

What a great year 2019 has been for D Double E and fans to see him get mainstream recognition!

From featuring on Vet riddim ‘Class Of Deja’ with Kano & Ghetts, to performing the same track live at Maida Vale and securing a hard verse on Asher D’s ‘Top boy’ – D Double E has a musical history like no other, ‘Oh My Gosh’ ‘It’s me, me’ ‘Dirteeeee Teeee’ and ‘Bada Bap Bap’ have stuck with us since the days of Pirate Radio, clashes on Deja Vu FM and some of his initial classic releases including ‘Street Fighter Riddim’ ‘Colours’ and ‘Bluku Bluku’ with Dizzee Rascal.

Alongside Newham Generals and Dirtee Stank recordings, D Double E has a history to be reckoned with, major online presence and a fanbase worth more than your brick phone. With hard work, dedication, and a lasting impact that spans over ten years it’s not rocket science why D Double E is the voice of Ikea’s first Christmas advert and has a full length track ‘Silence the Critics
