It’s been three years since we’ve gotten a full LP from Alicia Keys and though there’s no word on when her next project will be coming she’s still dropping new material to give her faithful followers something to groove to.

21 Savage‘s run of hopping on R&B remixes continues with this smooth vulnerable record, perfected with vocals from AK & Miguel!

After telling Swizz Beatz about his affinity for Alicia Keys’ music, Swizz connected the dots to have the pair link up on the sultry “Show Me Love” remix alongside Miguel, which premiered as Zane Lowe’s World Record and hit streaming services on Monday (Nov. 4).

The ATL native gets melodic when vulnerably letting the public in on the softer side.

“I sleep in the trap and just thug, but I’d rather you show me some love/ I’d rather you show me it’s real, I’d rather you tell me your feelings than you act like I’m trippin or high on the pill/ Go through so much in the street I just want to come home to a meal and a hug,”

he rhymes.

There were rumours of a remix of the single featuring 21 Savage, some people might have been quite shocked by it. But they shouldn’t have been, because the rapper showed his versatility in terms of subject matter even way back on his breakout project Savage Mode with Metro Boomin.

Alicia Keys releases the official remix with 21 adding a verse to the start of the record. He did a good job of not sounding out of place but adding his own flavour to it too.

You can watch the video above or stream via YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify or TIDAL.

21 also joined Normani for the “Motivation” remix, and answered Jhene Aiko‘s call to form the brokenhearted super team with Summer Walker on the “Triggered (Freestyle)” remix back in October.
